Default Road Bowling
The West Virginia Irish Long Bullets Road Bowling season kicks off next weekend (March 15-16), as part of the Irish Spring Festival and Gospel Sing in (naturally) Ireland, WV.

In addition to the road bowling competition, the festival features a snake chase, an Irish jig, harp workshops, car show, arts and crafts, games, parade, food, and much more. Details here and here.

The road bowling competition is the first in an eleven-event tour schedule that will stretch from Blackwater Falls to Pipestem. Details.

I hope it warms up for the snake chase...they don't move so fast when its 30 degrees..

You could make it a two-fer, DK... the Pickens Maple Syrup Festival is the same weekend, just a couple of valleys away.

Haven't found any listing yet for the Mobley Arts and Crafts Fair, though.

My chance of getting to Pickens are slim...joke... Mobley, Crum, Rupert all great Wv communities...
