I love summersville.............and i just found out ya'll have one of the best hospitals for great care in our area..Yepper nice to know........i'm in fayette county........so next time i am heading that way if i need 9ll.........sorry PMC..

When do they drain the lake there?????? I can't believe there is a small remnant of a town under it..We are going to try and plan to see it..Our family says it's something u can't see anywhere else..

The lake covers an area that was called Gad. My step-grandmother's home was there, plus one of her sons had his home there. I can remember going there as a child and it was lovely. All of the people who lived in that area had to relocate; the graves had to be relocated as well. There is quite a bit of scuba diving that goes on in the lake, and from what I understand it is very interesting. They start releasing the water from the lake after Labor Day
