Default Question about Capon Bridge....

Hi everyone!

My fiance may possibly be offered a job in Middletown, VA - when doing a realty search for properties with land (for horses) within a 50 mile radius, we came across Capon Bridge, WV.

I don't know anything about it - heres some info on us...

I'm late 30's he's early 30's - I have two kids from a previous marriage (both now adults and not moving with us). We have our house pets and two horses. I'm a western rider, my fiance is an outdoorsy person as well. We both like to go shooting (rifle and handgun) and would need to be close to some shooting ranges, and the usual, grocery stores, banks, etc..

Anyway, any information about the town, people, conveniences (and we are not high maintenance at all, LOL) would be greatly appreciated.

thanks!

If I remember correctly, Capon Bridge has a couple of restaurants, a gas station or two, a convenience store, etc. Lots of land to keep horses, but you'll probably drive to Romney or Winchester for your groceries.

Christi_in_WV is on a distinguished road
I used to live in Capon Bridge, actually High View. It's a nice place. Low crime. Nice schools, a bank, a couple of Dollar Stores, couple restaurants, convenience store. There's a nice new Wal-Mart right on Rt 50 just before Winchester, about a 25 minute drive. I still am through that way fairly often. The land is nice. My husband and I are outdoorsy as well. Besides the occasional skeet shoot, can't think of any ranges. I live now in the nieghboring Hardy County. It's nice as well. That should also be in your 50 mile range. If you need any help looking for home or land in Capon Bridge or Hardy County let me know. I'm in Real Estate.
Sincerely
Christi
