I am considering moving to WV and have seen several homes for sale in this town Ronceverte. Can anyone tell me about it? I am looking for any and all info. I am willing to travel 45 minutes commute for work. What stores are nearby? Major stores. Larger towns nearby?

I was born in Ronceverte. There are NO major stores within 30 miles except a WalMart Supercenter up the road in Lewisburg. You can get to Beckley in about an hour. That is the next largest town.

Lewisburg has a Walmart, Krogers and a few other basic stores and a good selection of restaurants but nothing major. Like the previous person said Beckley is 30 minutes away and has a large amount of big box. Charleston Wv and Roanoke Va are both about 2 hours away in different directions. I'm not sure if you are asking about big box for shopping or jobs or what line of work you are looking into. It seems like a nice little town but i've only been in it like 4 times. If you like small towns it seems great maybe ask more specific questions especially ones the person that grew up their can answer.
