Other possible illegal acts include tampering with state records and failing to comply with the state open records law.

I figure at least one head has to roll: B-school Dean Sears, Provost Lang, or President Garrison. Maybe all three.

The Post-Gazette has another story today.

By the way, kudos have to go to the fact-checker at the P-G, who probably thought he/she was just doing a routine confirmation when she called the WVU Registrar last fall.

Judge Stone has been a personal friend for over 30 years...the law will prevail here...we are in good hands...Marsha Ashdown will do this right...watch and see.

Thank God for this opportunity to change a small part of the 'tide of dirty seaminess' in the mountain state...
the best populace is an informed populace...thank-you P-P Gazette.

Do you know her...I don't think she has that ambition...the Gov. must be from the 'good old boy network. Possibly Bob Kiss if MoJo has to give it up...waiting in the wings is Tim Manchin...1st cousin to the MoJo...

Well, it wasn't Garrison next, DK.

Dean R. Stephen Sears of the College of Business and Economics announced his resignation today.

The whole thing is disgraceful - when I think about how much time and money and effort my son put into getting his Masters Degree and a politicians daughter can just get one awarded with no effort other than a political line about "self study" or "life study", it sickens me to the core. I'm thinking WVU had better be going back over each and every Masters awarded and make sure they were all earned and not just given away.

The Democrat Party Machine is spreading the rumor that Rich Rod started this about Ms. Manchin...and in question also in her bachelors degree from California....

I love Wv politics...but WVU faculty will prevail...they understand integrity, character and honesty.
Much of which has been lacking in the administration..

What we are seeing is a head rolling just about every day...until the masses are appeased...the big heads...those full of fat, will fall last...like the big apples from the tree.

Garrison will be forced to go...the donors will send him packing.

Perhaps when this has blown over we can have a new Regents Degree...no tuition, no credits and done with a phone call...

we could call it The BullShi^^er...because that's what has been done to the people of this state for the past 4 months...

As a matter of fact...I'm going to print one on my computer, set it with a blue seal and gold ribbon, frame it and hang it on the wall...its worth about as much as the others...I'm Pi$$ed about this...

David I feel the exact same way, I am absolutely infuriated. It is amazing the media firestorm that has surrounded this, I even have a few smarta** people at my office here in DC asking me if I actually completed my degree. I worked hard for my four year degree and the fact that Heather Brecsh was able to cheat the system because she was too lazy/busy/important (whatever it was) is a major slap in the face. I imagine Garrison's resignation won't be far behind, the faculty senate has not liked him from day one and this just adds insult to injury.
