Target Store
Is the Target store open yet in Charles Town? I think it's suppose to be located across the street from the Home Depot.

No...the only thing open on the other side of Route 9 is a Bob Evans restaurant.
The only other structure in progress appears like it's going to be either a CVS
or Rite Aid....
By just driving by, I can't tell if any of the underground utilities and such have
been started for the rest of that property. A Target or anything else of that
size is at least a year away, IMO.

As of Dec 2008, there are also a McD's and Chick-fil-A under construction. The McD's looks like it's close to finished. The Chick-fil-a has a while to go. There is a "coming soon" sign for a Golden Corral, but it doesn't appear to even be started yet.
On a side note - the new IHOP is open now (over near the racetrack) in Charles Town.

Target has decided to open in Martinsburg. I do not believe there are any plans for a Target in Ranson, at least not yet.
The side opposite of Rt9, across from Home Depot, is known as 'The Boulevard at Potomac Towne Center' Rite Aid and Bob Evans are open. Mcdonalds and ChickFila are under development. Golden Corral, Frank Theaters, Jerry's Subs, and Five Guys have also been confirmed. A Costco is also rumored to be coming in the future.

Starbucks is supposed to open a store behind the new Bob Evan's in Ranson. Starbucks is also going to open a store inside the new Target in Martinsburg.
