I would like to thank mamaplaysflute for posting that Target was accepting applications back on April 17. Because of her post I am now employed. THANKS again mamaplaysflute!
You are certainly welcome! I applied there as well, but no such luck. I was hired by Dick's though (or rather re-hired as I was employed by them until last September when my husband was relocated to VA). We start our hiring process on Monday, but I haven't been told where yet. Applications are being taken on-line at the Dick's Sporting Goods website and you'll be scheduled for an interview. The last I was told the Grand Opening is slated for 1st or 2nd week in September, I will let you all know the exact date when I find out for sure (it's been postponed 2x now).
I went to Target this evening and was very impressed. The isles are wide, the store is neat, and the staff was very friendly. I'll never go back to the Target in Hagerstown now. The electronics area and food section was nice. It was very cool that the lights in the freezer cases come on as you walk by and turn off when you leave, very "Green" .
Pizza Hut and Starbucks round out the store. The sitting area for your coffee/food is in the front of the store. It is private from customers and you have a view of The Commons and the mountains, kinda nice.

Thanks for the link RD35, great video!!! I didn't know that Pizza Hut was moving in with Starbucks. I absolutely love the idea with the freezer cases, I can't wait to see it!!! I wasn't able to stop in, today was kind of busy for me. I'll try to stop in tomorrow or Friday. I'm glad to hear about the nice seating area with the view, definetly worth checking out!!! -mmccul
