True, the population of Kanawha and Cabell county is decreasing, but Putnam county's population is increasing, however just not as much as Berkeley.

I am new with this. Hello to you all.

I just moved from Alexandria, VA to Martinsburg, WV a year ago. When I moved here, I dont see Starbucks around here but that s ok. I know Winchester, VA and Hagerstown, MD do have starbuck coffee when I go to shopping on the weekend sometime.

I know I heard a new Target store will be in our area (Martinsburg, WV) next year 2009, I am curious about it. What about STARBUCKS COFFEE? Are we going to have new a Starbucks in Target? I hope so.

What's with the excitement over a Starbuck's anyway?? Overpriced and IMHO lousy coffee. Besides, aren't there several Daily Grinds in Martinsburg??

You are certainly right.Both Starbucks AND Dunkin Donuts are living off their name while their coffee is so so.

Cabell County actually posted a small population increase between 2006-2007 so hopefully things are turning around. It will take several years of gains to make it a trend but it's better than continuing to lose people, a trend that began in the 50s.

You can always buy it online by the bag if it's all about the coffee and you don't have a store nearby. i know some folks just like the ambience of the place to mingle or lounge around with buddies. Try the mom and pop coffee houses or bookstores w/coffehouses for ambience.

Sorry for the not getting back to you sooner but I wanted to thank you to Reesey and Harborlady for suggesting about Starbucks where I can purchase thru online. Yes, VA Medical Center does have a Starbuck in the building when I went to Human Resource Office. Thank you again. Have a wonderful summer!

Well, they put crack in it... so you get addicted and then you can't start a morning without it. It's not so much as excitement, its more like - Where can I get my next fix!!!! I too have fallen victim
