The president has about nil to do with anything regarding economics. Bill had about as much to do with the 'prosperous and bust' times as Bush did during his tenure.
My disdain for the candidate(s) Clinton come from witnessing their brand of politics and corruption both inside and outside the Beltway. I've never liked it. Neither do I like Bushie II for that matter.
And I'm still waiting for the right candidate and party to come along to satisfy the 51% 'sane' majority in this country. Stop pandering to the extremes on either end and we might actually get somewhere.

It was so embarassing when I went to Europe a few years ago and our tour guides told us to tell people we were from Canada because nobody liked Americans (except for their tourist $$). Even though she is fully capable of managing the job by herself I would have no problem with her seeking a second opinion from Bill when that phone rings at 3 am lol.
I just don't understand the Hillary hatred. Many of my "religious" relatives despise her and are never afraid to say derogatory things about the woman but then they can never really provide a solid reason for their hate. They "don't trust her" yet they believe every word that comes out of Bush's mouth as if jesus christ himself said it. I have my own theories as to why they truly hate her, perhaps closest sexism, etc but won't go there..
Everyone is always so quick to through the B**** word at Hillary but honestly I don't think anybody wants a pushover in the White House, she wouldn't take crap from anybody man or woman.

Hillary isn't "managing" Bill. He made a fool out of her in front of the whole country, had her going on about conspiracies and such just to cover his a**. Bill gets to sleep around and still have his wife. If that's not taking crap, I don't know what is. That is the definition of "pushover".

Why can't people get over the Monica Lewinsky scandal, it didn't harm any of you personally and it was HILLARY'S own choice to stay with Bill, married couples make decisions like that everyday. The fact that she was willing to fight hard through a rocky period in life and not let it adversely affect her isn't exactly my definition of a "pushover."
It's not like Bill's moral issues in office sucked money out of your pocket book like Bush's tax cuts for the wealthy and the Iraq War that is pushing 150 million dollars per day, that place is still a disaster and the people there hate us. Nothing thrills me more than knowing I get to pay for reconstruction of a country that we personally destroyed and had no business going into in the first place (purely my opinion).

Other than Harry Truman and Jimmy Carter (in the past hundred years)...none of our Presidents could keep their their pants on...even the crippled Roosevelt...No one talks about Washington...slept everywhere and they used to have a sign on the building to proclaim it. I wonder if he kept a diary of those 'rest stops...
Those issues in the Clinton household were worked out years ago..perhaps in college.
Mr. Clinton has been said to have a sexual addiction...and has refused professional treatment...IMO he is treating himself...the old fashioned way...with amatures.
Deep in a victims sub-conscious the issues of his sexuality point to a distressed relationship with the mother...was'nt Clinton adopted...almost a broken home of somekind...it's not an excuse here, but it points in the right direction...
It is abuse..both to the lady and to the man for never having the respest to correct and understand and adjust the behavior...as mean and despicable as Hillary is...and friends have told me that in the first person, she deserved the status of wife...and the respect that that station gives...she has not had that priviledge and has found her success in other lessor pursuits...sad.

There are women who choose to stay with men who abuse them. They can CHOOSE to do whatever they want but if they decide to run for President they can't be suprised if some of us CHOOSE to think less of them than we might.

Unbelievably simplistic rationale for voting for Hillary over the brilliant Barack Obama. West Virginia, my God! Thank God, the race is over and your state does not matter.
Youse voted for the wrong man to be president in '04 and '00 and it appears youse are continuing that trend in voting for Hillary. Incredible.

It's part of our uniqueness....to be outside this countries mainstream.
WEZE are ...who WEZE 'R...and thank GOD for that...
You A Californian...and I'm laughing as I say this...Qualified at all to criticise West Virginia?
WE have NEVER counted...and we are very, very proud of that...
I proudly stand and say with a humble vioce...thank you for the compliment...I hope we can stay that way...
Laysayfair: There is comfort and security found in the abusive relationship...it's the dominance felt and mistaken as a strength. Hillary is very bright,
she has bought into this relationship for the benefit of standing on the world stage. Compromises were made...she has chosen them all.

Alexus,
The acceptable forms for the second person plural in this forum are "y'all" and "you'all"; "yinz" can be used occasionally, provided y'all are from a county that borders Pennsylvania.
As to the Democratic nomination, last I looked Obama was leading in delegates nationwide, but not by much. He does not have the nomination locked up yet. Perhaps his leftist-populist positions go over well in NoCal, but we're more sensible here.
