I agree!!! That was pretty awesome. To take a day off from the bull**** of politics to honor the lives lost and the tragedy that struck our country.

Pearl Harbor was a tragedy and lost many lives too...the result of that attack cost us the lives of 500,000 men and women...the world lost about 200,000,000...Russia? 60,000,000 alone...

This present war against this muslim pirate clan was fought before on the Barbary Coast...and against almost the same people of a prior generation...

The coal miners know who will keep their jobs and who will send them into oblivion...3rd time will be the charm...Coal and WV's economy rode into the clouds in the past 7 years on one issue...the Bush Energy Plan...nothing else...

Obama, Reid, Pelosi...what do they say about coal?..."dirty, smelly...time to end it" and the lives of our people with that diatribe...WV will staunchly vote Rebublican and be called racist for it...so be the ignorance of others...

With that VP McCain has, you'd think they'd invest heavily in Alaskan drilling and quietly forget about coal...it won't be needed as much anymore...

Quite the contrary, Mr. MoJo has a great personal stake in coal gasification, asked the Cinese to come to WV last spring and build 6 plants here...money will come from federal public funds shepharded in by Rebublican Shelley Moore Capito...several other states are in the same queue....

This will be the bridge to the Rockefeller Gasification projects that need time for the auto industry to conform...

We will fill our car in the garage...hook up the hose, turn on the pump and fill up the car with natural gas from the pipes...
thing about this is the price...how does the government get the tax money with a heating and cooking fuel?

Price must be regulated and reach a peak level just as gasoline has...the magic breaking point was $4.25 in WV....that's when alternatives took over..

These stooges are not going to let us have any more money than a subsistance wage...
We are nearing the magic number for revolt...65%...that's when the people cannot tolerate the taxation...hidden or otherwise...
Locally, in our region its begining in Fairmont with the mis-appropreation of water funds, a system that does not work, has made people sick for months...
It's one thing to steal the money...but when the people really suffer they begin to act...

Morgantown? We will reach critical mass with transit costs...as the money is sent to Fairmont to subsidise and create business (gambling casino's) highways...and Mon County is neglected and left to create its own sorely needed roads...rebellion will take place there too...
the polls on election day...watch and see, a new group of faces will parade to Charleston in January...many will be of the other party...

My letter to Fox News:

I don't like you, but that aside . . I ask you please investigate this absurdity.

'Race, Politics and Stereotypes in West Virginia'
http://wvgazette.com/News/200809130408

This conference is a complete ruse, in effect, to promote 'if you're not for Obama, you're a racist'.

If Republicans don't vote for Obama, are these hypocrites going to say they're racist too? I know blacks in West Virginia not voting for Obama because they think he's a snake oil salesman. There's plenty of reasons to not vote for Obama. Since when are we not entitled to have our opinions? When, as Americans, did we waive our right to vote for whomever we choose? Aren't they saying we're not smart enough to make decisions for ourselves, but they'll explain what's wrong with us, and then we can make the right choice?

There are disenfranchised people in this state, Democrats betrayed by their delegates. Citizen voices are made heard through voting, and they were completely ignored as their representatives, the delegates, voted for Obama, i.e., Rockefeller.
http://wvgazette.com/News/200804070734

This is not about the people of West Virginia. This is the Democratic Party, who has been running a smear campaign against West Virginia since the primaries, that it's a racist state, in an attempt to bully people into voting for Obama. So whatever light you can shed on those responsible for this absurd conference, especially with those cockroaches of the ACLU being involved, would be appreciated.
