Everywhere has crime, even semi-rural communities like Charles Town. A few out of the ordinary shootings doesn't mean the area is going to turn into the next southeast DC or Baltimore. I think most people that live closer in to the cities would LOVE to have the minute crime levels that occur in Jefferson County.
