Mineral Rights in WV
I would like to sell my mineral rights in WV . They are for 40+ ac 1/2 mile from the Ohio River in Wood county. Does any one know what they are worth?

Are you really sure you want to "sell", not "lease"? Or has your door already been knocked down by people beating a path to it? The person who says that a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush is forgetting the 2 in the bush may each be sitting on a nest full of eggs! It's a little like that with mineral rights. I suspect you'll never get what they are really worth unless you get a bidding war going on. And even then you might not because the true value isn't really known until you have a well or wells that are producing. If you can, you just might want to wait until those eggs hatch even if it's your grandchildren that benefit.
