most scenic land locked state in the usa.
i live in boone county, wv.its rather small and house only 3 high schools. its like 3-4 different regions. we have about 5-6 gas stations on our side. no chains except the dairy queen that is on the outskirts of a neighboring county. madison would be the biggest part of the county. its like a tiny city. pizza hut, dairy queen, goodwill [lol]. its where our courthouse is. but we are right beside charleston so we get to go to walmart and movies on the weekends. whitesville used to be a big city, they had theaters ad everything. buts its a bit run down now. a couple people have small farms, nothing big. but we swim in the river and go to the high school football games every friday. they are big. you could call us rednecks and trailer trash, its pretty much true. and were not afraid to say it. everyone knows everyone and their business. but when it comes down to it, we all help each other. thats the way it should be. everyone talks about not being able to wait to get out of this place. when i read some of the comments i thought to myself, its truly beautiful. and unless i become rich or famous, i probably won't leave.

Towns unchanged - hmmmm! - I used to live in Hundred, bet it hasn't changed. I'm thinking Littleton hasn't changed either.

Hundred - wow, talk about a flash back. When I lived in Ohio dated a guy with relatives in Hundred and went there with him one time. Hadn't thought of that in about a million years.

They built a new high school there, back in the 90s, but that's about all that's changed. Still the concrete highway through town, still the narrow Route 69 leading off to Pennsylvania.
