Default Auto Insurance

What are you paying for auto insurance...just the bare basic that the WV laws say you need?

Right at $1300.00 per year for a 2005 Dodge Magnum and about $480.00 for a 2008 Harley Ultra Classic. Full coverage on both.

I remember when everyone in the southern part of the state was burning their cars and trailers to get some money to live on...that was the mid to late 80's when the coal economy was killed.

Many companies would not write insurance in West Virginia at all if you lived in certain southern counties..rated policies were very expensive...

I'm just glad that those days are over for a while...and we have insurance...I was able to buy out of state with Metropolitan and they have been very fair...
