Default "Perfect" weather in West Virginia?

To me, "perfect" weather is 4 seasons, summers under 90 degrees with low humidity, any winter conditions, leaves changing colors in fall. Does this exist ANYWHERE in West Virginia? (Thanks in advance!)

Terra Alta, Blackwater Falls.. the high country just west of the eastern continental divide would get you really close..

One summer we are Bluestone Lake and it was so hot and muggy that we packed up the gear and drove to Blackwater.

It was 20 degrees cooler, low humidity, and a wonderful breeze. Evening temp's were in the mid 50's.

That's heaven.

For the most part, anywhere on the East Coast you will have humidity.

Head to the hills. It exists in many parts of WV but the higher in the hills the more of what you are looking for.
Example: Canaan Valley (someone mentioned Blackwater Falls - that's in the Canaan Valley area).
Normally the only month I consider it the least bit hot in Canaan is in August (during the day not at night). Even so, we have no air conditioning and no fans at our cabin - never need them.

I think Elkins and Buckhannon also - if it does get to 90 and high humidity it's not often. I know a lot of people in Buckhannon who do not have air conditioning but have ceiling or whole house fans for the days it does get hot. I can't imagine living in Charleston without air conditioning.

For whatever it is worth: as a child below age 10 I used to spend parts of the summers in Charleston where I 64 now runs across Kanawha Blvd back in the 1960's-----and, it seemed to be more pleasant than Wash DC where I was born/raised.

Mercer County's nickname is the Four Season's County.

When the temperature goes over 90 degrees in the summer, they give out free lemonade in Bluefield. Doesn't happen often.

Last night, it was in the 50's and the high temperature predicted for today is 82. If it gets to 85, people complain about the 'heat wave." :)

Fall is spectacular. Lots of forests and hardwood trees turning bright yellows, oranges and reds.

Winter's aren't too bad. It can get frigid but doesn't usually last. We get a couple of nice pretty snowfalls.

And spring is just really special when the trees bud out and the spring flowers bloom everywhere.
