People in WV generally judge others by how they act and what they do instead of color.
If a white or black ******* moves in, they won't be accepted.
They tend to judge character more than race or color. If you take care of what you need to take care of and live and let live you will fit in. Dont matter what race you are.
I know my address shows I live in Ohio. But I have family in Wv. and am down there a lot.

And if you can play bango, fiddle, guitar, or sing, don't be surprized if you are asked to join in some frt porch music making with your white neighbors.
If you can't do any of these, and you give no reason for being ill thought of, you just might be ask to come on over and just listen and enjoy yourself along wiith everybody else.
They can be kinda independant and seem to be sorta backward. But if you are a decent person and need help, the community will come together as a whole and do what they can to help you in times of trouble. Doesn't matter what color your skin is.
My experiences are based on the good people of the Braxton county area.
Yes, I'm white. But where my folks come from, we don't have racial boundaries. We just have people. Take care of the good, chase off the bad. Don't matter what color.
