Just wanted to give you a heads-up on a couple other places to shop for Specialty food items. Maybe not what you mentioned here but worth checking out.

There are some shops on Bridge Road in South Hills. Eggplant has some specialty food items - not a lot but I usually find something worth buying. Also check out South Hills Market & Cafe. http://brna.homestead.com/

One of my fav places to pick up unusual food items, salsa's, etc is Home Goods on Corridor G. Often they have Wasabi Peanuts which are to die for and not real hot. That's one of those dangerous stores to walk into - you see a zillion things you can't live without.

Call me Tres is on a distinguished road
Holy cow! That's a lotta meat!!

We visited the nicer Kroger and agree that it has a better selection of less common "ethnic" foods. We got sidetracked by Sams Club though and spent most of our $$ there! We have a lot of toilet paper though. If there is ever a shortage of TP y'all can come visit us. You will get six squares for each box you unpack.

We left our ratty Goodwill dressers behind when we moved and now it turns out that we don't have anyplace to put our stuff. So each person that brings a dresser to our house during a TP shortage will get a FOUR PACK of 2 PLY. We are generous like that.
