Default Remembering Paul Newman and a Connection to WV

I saw this article about Paul Newman in the Huntington Herald-Dispatch today. It talks about how Newman spent 4 days in and around Huntington preparing for his role in Cool Hand Luke. I had never heard about this before and thought I'd post it as a way to remember such a great actor and bring a little WV connection to it as well.

Possibly longer than that. Newman started in the SCCA amateur ranks back in the 70s, and did most of his pro racing in the 80s and early 90s.

I once helped him push his TR-6 through tech inspection, at Nelson Ledges Road Course in Ohio.

He raced because he loved it. Where most drivers put their name above the door, his car simply had "PLN".
