Question Schools near Moorefield, WV
Seeking input on schools near Moorefield as it's possible we may ultimately move there ~ also any other information about the area. Thanks

The only thing I know about that area is that there are a lot of chicken farms. Hope someone knows more.

Moorefield is growning...schools are still old fashioned and responsible...nice place to raise a family...

Oh thanks; I read something on another thread about the schools there losing their accreditation???
My SO told me they're not consolidated (THAT could be a plus!), and that that's probably why....do you know anything about that?
Rural doesn't bother me ~ actually, I see it as a plus ~ we're way rural here, too. I like rural living....

Great school and great athletic program that includes many kids...Was an 'A' School could be 'AA now...smallest enrolement classification...great impulse towards higher education and WVU...Reed Williams, current WVU football great is a product of a very old Moorefield family...new interstate only means more growth and solid economy for the area of EP expansion...had little hope of industry until the mega-chicken business...millionaries made many times over with the local farms...

Small regional county..only high school at Moorefield and West Hardy at Wardensville...(I think) don't hold me to that one...
