We need a 3-BR home in Moorefield. My DH is working out there and needs it immediately (he's currently in a motel).
Please PM me if you have a house for rent, or know of one.
Thanks

Whoa, must be a lot going on in Moorefield. That is good. Didn't the chicken plant close down (or lay off a lot) so I'd figure things would be slow there.

I'd check with the hotel lady about a house - bet she'd know and be willing to help.

With the new section of highway being built from Moorefield to Petersburg, every dwelling that can house a worker is being rented. Nothing cheap and nothing available.

We should have one of our houses available soon in Petersburg. 4 bedrooms and 2 baths with a full basement down the road from the schools.

You can check in Keyser or New Creek. My mother works in Baker (near Moorefield) and she commutes every day from New Creek/ Keyser area. Not that bad of a commute, and the housing costs are not too bad. Some apartments there also. Maybe a 45 minute commute each way.

Hope that helps!

Who knew Moorefield would be such a hot area - I know someone else looking for a house to rent in Moorefield. 2 bedroom would work.

Will tell them about Keyser or New Creek but they'd really like to be in Moorefield.

Once again the tried and true method in WV has worked - my friend found a house to rent. He asked some of the locals and someone knew someone who had a nice house available for rent.

Want the news in a small Wv town? Post Office, Hair Salon or Barber Shop...and the churches.

Faster that the www.

Obama's cutting the funding for bridge work in the USA..that will stop the section of Corridor 'H between Moorefield and Petersburg...as much of it is 'skyway over the river bottom.

Petersburg is in the heart of Grant County. One of the strongest Republican Wv counties...

What a waste for Wv that this highway will not be completed.

Spending the hundreds of billions where it will count...that road meant JOBs with a capital R...RCByrd...
Sadly, he is Democrat history now too!

I would have expected our tourism industry to have given a 'Token word or two in protest, but they are loyal Dems and are keeping their mouths shut like the good 'dweebs tey are.
West Virginia tourism? 3 Billion into the state each year and 44,000 jobs for the created democrat bureacracy...
Going to Caanan to ski from Virginia? Easier to hop a plane to Colorado or Vermont and spend the money there.

So true. The completed part of Corridor H has REALLY helped the greater Canaan Valley area. The rest of the road was highly anticipated.
