Relocating to West Virginia - Help (Charleston, Huntington: insurance, home, promotional)

I am relocating to the Beckley/Charleston area from Little Rock, Arkansas and I am looking for a job from "afar" so to speak. Does anyone know of any particular companies to get started in the area?

I am currently a federal government employee, and have worked a lot with computer softward. I am looking for full-time work with the VAs. Right now I have an BS degree in Management/Human Resources. Does anyone have any ideas? I would like to set up some networking before I get moved. Thanks

VA as in VA Hospital? There is one in Beckley (don't know if there is one in Charleston).

This site says there are 30 govt job opening in Beckley - looks like they area all at the VA hospital, doesn't look like you field of interest however:
Beckley West Virginia Jobs - government jobs
According to this site, there are a bunch of Fed jobs in the state.
West Virginia Government Jobs state, local and federal government jobs

WV State jobs are at Staffing - Employment - Jobs - State Gov't Jobs
You can apply online.
There are several in computers and some in Personnel.

Have to be Beckley/Chas? Several Fed jobs in the Clarksburg/Fairmont area - FBI Fingerprint Identification Center, NASA Independent Verification and Validation Center, etc.

Charleston doesn't have a VA hospital but they do have one of the smaller clinics. Huntington is where the VA hospital for the area is located and it has actually been named as the best in its region. The VA regional offices are here in Huntington as well. Huntington and Charleston are only about 45 minutes apart as well. Here's some info on the Huntington VA. Hope this helps.
