I'll add my own prediction which applies only to the southernmost part of the state:
* There will be a higher number of days with snow flurries compared only to last winter.
* The cold will last longer (seasonally) once the first snow falls.
* The last day of frost will be after May 1.
* There will be at least one snowfall with an accumulation of 3 inches greater than any last year.
Disclaimer: I have never predicted the weather before in any area, but I feel quite strongly about this and I cannot explain it. Do not argue with me. Since I am a woman, it would be pointless.
