Big al & vec, I was very disappointed to see the sample ballot for charleston having little or no representation from republicans. Someday, when republicans get their party back, I think it's important to have your party show up on the ballot instead of having politicians running completely unopposed.

DK mormons raised 45% of the money to campaign against gays. There's an incredible amount of hypocrisy in that considering how much disdain catholics have for what they term as "sam's club marriage". Abysmal display of perversions of religion in action. Jesus would weep.
Mormons can vote themselves out of the constitution just like any other faith based organization can. And when rabid catholics are done with gays, they'll be going after mormons. Whatever other faiths are doing, I can't answer that- you tell me. What a nasty game to play with religion. OR maybe we'll get lucky and the supreme court will tell the wrong people on the right to finally sit down and mind their business. It's horrible, it's pathetic, and these are my own... Wasn't meant to accuse you of anything vec... You're a resident of same county and I was at a severe disadvantage not knowing anything about local candidates being a newcomer. Lots of homework to do and not enough time to be thorough. I agreed with your assessment of shelley moore. I vote for person too, so long as that person is being their own person.

Yes, people who voted for Bush said nany nany boo boo after the 2004 election, then got noticeably quiet by 2006. The true "believers" still say, "I think George W. Bush is a good man", or "I don't believe he has committed any crime", still regurgitating propaganda mantras in complete disagreement with facts. That is exactly what Obama people sound like . . Bush people, because they are Bush people, or more appropriately, minions of the corruption, new world order. Call it what you will.
