Need Help Quick, Please
Unfortunately, my grandmother is extremely ill (in Morgantown) and on her death bed. Apparently, she took a turn for the worse during the night. I was planning to vote tomorrow (Hurricane--Putnam County) as usual, but fear that I will be driving to Morgantown this evening. Any suggestions? Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated! Thank you...

Wow, I really doubt if there is anything that can be done but try calling the County Clerk's office:
Putnam

Putnam County Courthouse
3389 Winfield Road
Winfield, WV 25213

Sorry to hear about grandma.

ABCdom sorry about grandma but I'm afraid you're correct- saturday was the cutoff for early voters. I thought I could go today and avoid the lines but I was informed otherwise in kanawha cty clerk office. If you're leaving tonight or even tomorrow, call her by cell phone just in case you can't get there on time.

VEC & HARBORLADY--Firstly, I want to sincerely thank you both SO much for attempting to help. Fortunately, I didn't have to leave yet and was able to vote early this morning. Unfortunately, it doesn't look good for my grandmother. Nonetheless, it means a lot to have the support of "total strangers." Again, thank you.
