Miss... I must reply here. Like you, I went to graduate school at a Big 10 midwestern university, and my experience (which can be backed with actual facts) is just the opposite of yours. West Virginia has had periods of exodus of people in the past due to declines in manufacturing jobs, just like many cities in the midwest, but these days opportunities in West Virginia far outpace those in most of the Nation. Why don't you get your facts before you spew out your bull$hit. Take a look at Morgantown's classified ads, and compare them to those in your midwestern town, then get back to me:

You will notice a full three pages of ads for hiring people. Compare that to any similarly sized town in the midwest... any of them, then report back to us. Provide links to back up your claims. I await your response. What "Mr. Links" knows is that anyone can get on here and run their mouths, not knowing of what they speak. If you are truly correct, then back up your claims. I'm sure they taught you how to do that in your Big 10 university. The above links speak for themselves.
