And interestingly, I can't stand the Peking House.

In my travels across the eastern US, the best Chinese restaurants do have a lot of seafood!

Like Vec said, Main Tin in South Charleston's Mound District is great, used to eat there all the time when i lived in Dunbar and South Charleston.
Now that i live in Saint Albans, i frequent the Dragon Garden in the Saint Albans Mall. It's pretty much like the rest of the Chinese restaraunts in the valley, but i prefer it since it's close and i'm getting to know the staff well.
DK, i ate at the Evergreen when i went up to the WVU/Miami OH basketball game last month. It was pretty good too.

Oh, and Saredspirit, i've eaten at the buffett in Ripley, WV. My parents live near there and i've gone there with friends at the Ripley shopping plaza. It's been a few years but i think the name of the place was the "Great Wall" or something like that.
Here in downtown Charleston where i work, we order delivery from Main Kwong on the East End. It's a hole in the wall, very little seating, but hey at least they deliver downtown!

Three Run, are you talking about the new chinese restaurant in Harrisville? There isn't a Chinese restaurant in West Union that I know of. I live about 10 miles from there.
Actually, there is nothing in West Union...not even a working pay phone anymore! lol

I misspoke. It was in Weston, not West Union.
The only Chinese you get in West Union is Teryaki flavored beef jerky at the gas station!

I love the food at the chinese restaurant in Ripley, but the tables are so close that it's uncomfortable to dine there.
There is a chinese restaurant up at the old mall in Morgantown, the one that has the goodwill in it? I've eaten there and the food was ok, but nothing special.
Has anyone tried the one at Bridgeport Hill? I don't know the name of it. You'd turn at the light and I think it's down there on the right.
Threerun, beef jerky is another one of my favorite foods! I'm planning on making my own this year, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I want to make it out of ground venison! Yummy!

Ground venison?
Try slicing a semi-frozen roast into 1/4" thick slabs and then make some REAL jerky.. Mmmmmm!

Threerun, won't it be really hard on the teeth? I have a few very nice roasts in the freezer right now. Looks like I will probably be iced/snowed in for a while with this crazy weather. I may give it a try this weekend. Not much else to do but keep the water from freezing!

No way! Make sure you seperate the roast and trim ALL the fat and sinew off. Marinade in your favorite concoction and put 'er in the dehydrator or oven.
It's very, very good this way, and not too tough IF you get that sinew off.

ok, I'll give it a try! I know about the sinew. None of that goes in my burger either. If I can't chew it I'm sure the kids will! They still have sharp teeth!
