I must mention Hank's Hotdogs at Middletown Mall near Fairmont...grills them just right...has a nice flavorful sauce and the coleslaw is the very best...not runny or overpowered with onion...
served with homemade, homecut potato chips...a winner in every way!
Also a Sandwich menu to kill for...upscale and just the right treat for all the high techies who work there.
hours are breakfast hours to 5 pm...closed on Saturdays...a person walks past Subway to get a great fix of nitrites...worth every step.
Last year i attended the Hot Dog Festival in Huntington's Pullman Square. We ran in the 5k race then ate hot dogs all afternoon. My favorites were from Hillbilly hotdogs, they have one called "The Steak Dog" served with A1 sauce that i really enjoyed.
I have visited the weenie man. Pun intended ha ha. But yeah when I got to Huntington in 06 I was concerned at the site of Hillbilly Hotdogs. They're decorations are out of this world. But yeah they have great hotdogs, and if you sing that song you supposedly get a free hotdog. Never done that, but maybe one day I will.. ha ha
Hillbilly Hot Dogs is great, if for nothing else for the atmosphere. I have to admit, I'm more partial to Stewart's and I like the dog's from Frostop pretty well too, but Hillbilly's are right up there. For those who haven't seen it, here's the clip of them from Diners, Drive Ins and Dives.

Now that is hard core!
Running the 5K and offsetting any health benefit with the weenie!
