Where is the best place to raise kids.
Summerville
Princeton
AThens
Point Pleasent

It has to be a place where i can find a job , an office job rent a house for 400-600 a month. Not to much crime. I want a country setting but still be able to get around to a store even if my car breaks down. I have a used van its pretty good but you can never tell.

Also i dont want to be to far from bluefield wv , to visit my parents.

Thank you

I like Summersville, and it is not too far from B'field, maybe 1.5 hrs. I LOVE S'ville, and plan to move there when we retire in 5 years or so.

I do not know too much about the schools as my children are adults, but the area is lovely. There is a Superwall mart, so getting a job in retail should be easy.

Housing, you should be able to find something in your price range. We have two very nice rental houses there and your price ranges matches what we rent for. Not trying to rent to you, just answering your question.

Please are very warm and friendly.

Summersville Lake, you just have to experience it yourself, and you will fall in love with it.

Thank you very much for your infomation. I am looking for a nice place to live to raise my kids . I currently rent a apt in illinois in a decent neighborhood for 850.00 a month. I know i will not get paid the same in wv as illinois so i want to make sure i find reasonable rent. I am currently applying for jobs so when i get there i wont have to much of a problem. Summerville does sound very nice from what i have heard. I have worked at the same job for 6 years here but i want to raise my kids in a better place. So it will be worth the move, also my kids will get to live in a house instead of a apt. thank you again.

Citygrl,

Drive a little further north on I-79 to exit 99. You'll find a town of about 4,000 plus called Weston. Nice schools, very low crime rate and for $850.00 a month you and your family could own a very nice home. The housing prices are moving more toward a buyers market right now. We're located in the heart of the state and no more than two hours from major cities in just about every direction. Don't know what industry you work in, but, unfortunately, regardless of what part of the state you choose, that might be a hang-up. Then again, you may find the perfect job right here. Good luck.
