I drove on the new section Tuesday the 16th and what a difference! I even went back on the old part to get some gas and that was a world of difference too as I didn't have to deal with all the truck traffic as it was all on the new four lane. I imagine they will be repaving that as it definitely needs it and they have most of the traffic off that section now. I can't wait until they finish the rest of it and it's four lane all the way from the Ohio to I-64.

According to this website: WVDOT - US 35 Project - Maps

They just opened up the second strech from the south, so you no longer have to wait at the really long light by wendy's.

How is it?

And it also looks like the northern part will be open soon, but there is a 13 mile gap that might not be done for a while?

Why can't they finish that last section?
