Salem WV
How 'bout Salem, WV. Comments re good place to live, taxes, pollution, crime, laid back place? I found a home on the Internet on Liberty Street, and was wondering if it's a possible future location for me... Thank you for your information.

Close to Clarksburg, has one hell of a diner in town, small rural feel- I personally like it.

That's a matter of perspective, lol.
There are some areas of Salem that flood, so due diligence would be in order if you search for property there.
A friend of mine lives north of Salem near Rock Camp Rd., I like that area too, but couldn't find any houses out there when I was looking. *sigh* someday I'll get out of town, but not for a few years. I think we'll save up and buy some property and have a house built when it's time. Salem (area) is in the running.

I only remember Salem as the place parents send their bad kids
But I do agree, it's a very nice place. A quaint, rural feeling town.
