Default Any Lewisburg, WV residents?

Do you like Lewisburg? How is the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center? Would an RN have any problem making ends meet there?

I don't live there but I think Lewisburg is a great little town. It's cute and the people are very friendly. I worked for a non-profit and had a lot of dealings with GVMC - I've never heard anything negative about it. Of course, it probably would not come close to CAMC in Charleston, WV.

Not sure where you are from but - the area is rural. Although, The Greenbrier (world famous luxury resort) is in the area. It's about an hour to a (for WV) large town (Beckley), 2 hours to Charleston, WV. Not sure how far to Covington, Va - don't think it is very far.

RN making end's meet? My guess is you would be in one of the higher paid careers in the area.

I'm from Parkersburg, WV-30,000+ and I'm looking for a smaller town. Thank you for your response.

According to Google Maps, it's about half an hour from Lewisburg to Covington, VA.

my wife and I lived in Lewisburg from 2003-2005 while she was going to the O school there. It is a nice little town, with a real small town feel. There isnt much in the way of convienences unless you want to go to Walmart or a few other small store, anything else you have to drive to Beckley or Ronoake. I did some of the landscaping around to new wind of the hospital and from what I could tell, its seems like a nice place, and is prob the biggest facility between Ronoake and Beckley.
