He tried for quite a while, making 'lift and touch' takeoffs, got tuckered out bad on the last one. Mrs. River's thinks maybe he pulled a muscle, he was all splayed out again.
None are of the screenshots are any good, I need to turn my screen resolution back back down.
Think he will fly tomorrow? Say about, 4:52pm. ? We can guess every day now.
The wind seems to entice him, he turns into the wind when it picks up, then dances and sings.
Pappy was leading him sometimes. Pappy would come back to the nest, feed Flyboy several bites as fast as he could swallow them. Then Pappy would go to the front of the nest abruptly and walking quick, Flyboy would follow behind real close, Pappy would launch and Flyboy would do a hesitant lift off in the wind. He was away from the nest, over the ground in a sort of flap-hover, then steered back to the nest.
We had some brief but very high winds about 5:45pm. The weatherman's phone caught on fire after he said the storm wasn't bad, he then quickly acknowledged the dime sized hail and high winds. 50-60 mph gusts. So possibly it will still be windy up there tomorrow.
edit- got my ACB's mixed up in the other post, now I can't edit, I was excited and hurrying back, Mom was too when she called and told me to look

Reason: ACBs mixed up and screenshots bad
The angle of the camera,, or the sun, has changed the view of the nest, a lot, in the last hour.....
looks (& sounds) like there's plenty of wind, today, too..........
After reading the blog, it sounds like the nest has been empty, for several hours, already........depending on what time zone the blog comments are set to, of course!
