Thumbs down Drilling for minerals in Ritchie County

Does anyone have any information on drilling for minerals in the Ritchie County area? I have mineral rights and the owner of the property is not being frank with me about what is happening. If there are any Drilling Comanies out there that have been drilling in the area please let me know. And if so what are the findings and maybe the Royalities paid. Thanks.

Do you live in WV? There is a lot of drilling going on in the area, but without specifics, nobody is going to be much of a help.

I dont live in WV, I live out in Chicago. I have never seen the land in question it once beloned to my great great granmother. I do know that the owners are going to court to try to get full share of the mineral rights and they made an offer, but I have been viewing information on-line and have come to the conclusion that there must be alot of activity and findings that the owner knows about and does not want to share that information and possible have to give me a better return for selling my percentage of mineral rights to him. I just want to know if anyone is drillling in Ritchie and if so what are they finding?

Mountain Valley Research is on a distinguished road
It has been a while since you first posted. Did you ever find the answers you need in regards to the mineral rights you inherited from your Great great grandmother? Do you have any more questions? Wish I would have read your post months ago, to be able to help you. I do research in WV, and alot of my research has been in Ritchie County.
