Default Chas called "Sophisticated City" on Today Show

This AM on the Today Show, real estate expert Barbara Corcoran showcased some houses at good prices. A house in Chas was one of them. She had really nice things to say about Charleston. Among them, she talked about how friendly the people are (walk down the street people smile at you, etc.). She also said people don't realize it but Chas is a sophisticated city.

Cannot yet find a link to the show. Will probably be online later. May also be in the newspaper.

That's good to hear. Seems like the national media goes from one extreme to another when talking about the motherland.

I feel Charleston is a pretty nice city overall. I enjoy living down here in the Valley. My wife and i have had opportunities to relocate, but so far, we are keeping rooted here because of the convenience to family, good jobs and how friendly the people are. As long as those three factors don't change, i could see myself staying planted here. It's not like we can't travel and get out of here when we need a break.

I'm glad to hear that, seeing as IMO, the Valley is miles ahead of Huntington - literally and figuratively!
