Hannan High School in Ashton, WV. I live just 5-6 miles from there. Almost went there, too. Nice little school, just did a renovation. It's in Mason County and the school is a Junior/Senior HS while the Elementary kids go to Ashton Elem., but Ashton is technically not a town. But it does have several gas stations with amenities, a small bank and you're not too far from Milton and Point Pleasant!

In Monroe County you have gap mills, union, and peterstown that all have their own schools.

Moorefield, in Hardy County has always impressed me. Flat land, easy to get around...development and industry...nice mix for a small town...and they recently gave us Reed Williams at WVU. Good Wv family!

Check out Helvetia. Smallest town in WV, and they have their own school. One year I think they had 5 people in the graduating class?

I think you will find that most of the small towns have their own schools.

Its a matter of a few minutes drive between those two isolated towns. The school is located in Pickens.

I visited Helvetia about 10 years ago, nice quaint isolated place. Tygart Valley was very pristine, clean, as well as Elkins. For some reason we went to Belington??? Scenic drive alway back down Rt. 219 to Lewisburg.
