I would love some info on the town, I saw a lovely house there and wondered what the town was like. We are also looking at Tennesee. But I would love to hear about Terra Alta.We are from the NJ shore area , and have a 3 yr old grandchild we are raising. We are trying to go somewhere quieter, and less crazy! Is Terra Alta in the middle of no where? Any help would be great!
Thank you very much!!! ![]() |

I currently reside in Rowlesburg, WV PrestonCounty, about 15 minutes away from Terra Alta. Both Areas are nice with nice people, schools, and more! Your child would be in the Preston County School District which has many snow closings each year about 13-20. Also Kingwood is very close which has many stores malls ect. more info at Preston County WV

Kingwood doesn't have any malls...I think they are getting a Wal*Mart though. Morgantown is close, too. It's a decent-sized college town.
