The answer for our electrical energy needs is hundreds of thousands of windmills...so many that the environmentalst 'tree huggers are now revolting...
Seems that they do not want them in the Malibu Mountains of California and Big Sur...
and of all things, Florida...offshore for several miles...row after row of white whirly-birds, killing the gulls and terns on the reefs...
I'm not kidding..this is the Answer...
No more NEW permits for coal mines...and No New permits for coal fired electric generation.
This is bigger than Wv...It's many other states too.. Ohio, Kentucky, Illionois, Indiana, ect...and the west.
Most of the other states have other sources for their taxation...but over 50% of our states 13 Billion dollar annual budget comes from coal...
Without business or a friendly legislature for business, we are destined for bankruptcy.
Natural gas will be the substitute and we will pay the tax on that...and take in the thousands of new mine related welfare cases because these men and women are marked as un-employable. (Made too much money...belonged to a Union...out of the tech loop...non-educated...those are the excuses)
God Help us...if you think a politician will help us...I have a bridge to sell you...

Have to say - I am pretty much rolling off my chair laughing about the environmentalists protesting and blocking the windmills (and solar panels). Better watch what you ask for cuz you may get it and not like it.
Personally, I vote for this idea:
Windmills Atop NYC Bridges, Buildings?
FOXNews.com - Windmills Atop NYC Bridges, Buildings? - America's News HQ
Well, here is an interesting thought:

I've been bummed out since our 'Think Tank Meeting yesterday.
RCB is "Paying the Price for opposing Obama...funding for Corridor 'H' will not be forthcoming.
That will cost the state billions in future revenue with no credible way to gain that money.
What Corridor 'H' would have done was this: Open the inner mountain areas of West Virginia for industry to bloom. Mechanical, Production and Tourism.
To take it's place...nothing worth note...but an increase of Prisons here, because this is a worthless piece of real estate in the eyes of the power brokers...and the land they are being built on...guess who owns that land? A GOOD Democrat!
As for GOOD Democrats...
Arlen Spector is a believer now...changed over...(Everybody knows he's a kook)
But they stripped him of his 'Seniority....that was the gift that was unexpected...now he has no power because he is Junior to everybody else...
I'm told he's the 'loneliest man in town.
Our advice to him...Wear that kilt everyday and vote 'Present.
If you are in Congress and are not on board the 'Obama Freedom from the Constitution Train, you are getting ready for retirement.
The Republicans (and some Democrats) are quaking in their boots...waiting for the storm troopers to come knocking..
Next wave of purges will be through the legal system...Off Shore bank accounts...graft...contracts.
They will be elected/replaced by loyal family/political stooges in the system...
and we, the electorate will vote them in..

Hey, we can't afford to put money into highways - in our current economy we have more important projects that need funding, such as......

Our countries energy problem has been recognized and the remedy chosen...Nuke Power will be done on a regional basis. Coal will not be phased out abruptly or completely.
In other news:
A friend told me tonight that he could not get into the ballgame at Pittsburgh...had to walk...was about 200 people in the stands..
5000 Swat Team members for the G-20 Guarding...many from California and all over the country...
"Pittsburgh City is as tight as a drum," he said, "and the Rest Stops are closed all the way to Flatwoods."
Next time when they want to have a gathering of the 'Invisible Empire, I hope the mayor of Pittsburgh says, 'Go elsewhere!'...Who needs this?

Well look at this little ditty -
Guess which state has been seeing an increase in coal production?
Illinois. The home of Obama.
Do I note a fox in the henhouse?

Does not surprise me Vec. Any state that fell into the "Red" column has been a target of this administration. Georgia, where I live now has had highway funds removed over the last six months, etc, and the worst............
Well, I'm sure you have heard about the flooding in Atlanta. Billions in damage, neighborhoods gone, roads and highways washed away. Finally, a week later the Comrade in Chief decided to sign an order of "some" assistance. No disaster area, just "some" assistance. Of course he is not coming down, but sending Comrade Biden to do a "fly over".
Now, rewind. Remember Katrina and other disasters that hit during GWB's administration. The media was all over the place. But in this case, nothing from the media. In short we had 2' 6" of rain in 48 hours and they are calling for 1-5 more inches today. But nothing from this administration nor the media.
So, don't expect anything from Comrade in WV on coal or energy. And God help WV if you would have a 1985 style flood again. Your on your own.
As for Jay. That carpetbagger needed to go years ago. But not only did he stay he was able to bankrupt the state as Governor. Then get re-elected The run for the Senate after bankrupting the state and get elected Then doing abolutely nothing for the state of WV or it's industry of commerce, and yet get re-elected continuing to do nothing after nothing for WV, and get re-elected and re-elected again now he's a lap dog for this administration and doing everything in his power through legislation to make WV a pure Third World state, and somehow, just somehow, I have a feeling WV will turn around and re-elect this carpetbagging Socialist yet again.
Oh! that's right, they did just that by a 64-36 margin
Is WV ever going to wake up!

It's long past time to replace him, as well as all the elitists who are ruining our country with their disconnected leadership. We need to start electing populists who will actually listen to the people. Rockefeller votes against the wishes of state residents more often than not, and feels immune from repurcussions since nobody else has the money necessary to run against him. Campaign spending limits would go a long way toward giving the people a real voice.

More on the Senate Finance Committee (Rockefeller is Chairman)
Finance
Quote:
Sen. Thomas Carper (D.-Del.), a member of the Senate Finance Committee, told CNSNews.com that he does not “expect” to read the actual legislative language of the committee’s health care bill because it is “confusing” and that anyone who claims they are going to read it and understand it is fooling people.
“I don’t expect to actually read the legislative language because reading the legislative language is among the more confusing things I’ve ever read in my life,” Carper told CNSNews.com.
Carper described the type of language the actual text of the bill would finally be drafted in as “arcane,” “confusing,” “hard stuff to understand,” and “incomprehensible.” He likened it to the “gibberish” used in credit card disclosure forms.

Have to give Sen. Carper credit for his honesty.
Could it be that Obama style legislation is crafted in some exact way to only be understood by 'loons?
Can't wait for the Health Bill and Rocky's explanation of it to us....UMWA workers are waiting...OH, YEAH
