Try the outlying areas...Grafton, Fairmont, Shinnston. About 15 minutes and the rent will be cheaper.
Realtors do not handle rentals..no money in it for them.
A property must be seen. Will have a For Rent sign in the window or a sign in the yard.
People drive around and look for rentals here. Or network...a good place to go is the local post office or grocery store bulletin board.
Sorry...this is not the big city.

Our family needs a 3 bedroom rental house in the Clarksburg/Bridgeport/outlying areas. Is there a small, local newspaper that I can get a hold of that advertises rentals? Is there anything online that I can see from here in VA?

Thanks so much any suggestions help. I am finishing up school plus working so I have little time to travel there and look around. My fiance is moving with me and will be in need of a job. He is a welder. Do you know of any businesses around the area that he can check into?

If he's into aircraft welding...Bombardier at the Bridgeport Air industral park...
If regular welding...many machine shops service the coal mines...
The state job service is overlooked and if he's a veteran that will get him to the head of the list..

It's hard to find a rental in Clarksburg since it's not a large city. Also most of your rentals will be duplexes or old houses and apartments. Clarksburg doesn't have many modern apartment complexes. Even Bridgeport's apartment stock is kind of old.
I suggest the local news paper. The Clarksburg-Exponent Telegram has a rental section and is online. Good luck! Clarksburg Exponent Telegram Online
