Every time I got into Cam Ranh Bay I would go to the village there and buy this stuff that looked like some kind of pickled red meat wrapped in a piece of bananna leaf with a little bamboo skewer stuck through it. Never did know what animal I was eatin' but you could get a double handful of the stuff for about 100 Piasters and it was really tasty and a nice change from "C" Rations. Bought a "hamburger" there once and have no idea what the meat was......never saw a water buffalo...or any bovine anywhere near Cam Rahn!!!

My lady said it was cruel to pull this joke on you...just a joke. If you saw the monkey at the end of the rope, that was tomorrows monkey (barbecue) Wonder if we will see those bazaars here in then USA anytime soon...just a simple conversion/addition to our 'Farmers Markets...
