Default Info on Holden, WV

Can anyone tell me about Holden, WV and the housing prospects in case of a possible job relocation?

What is the closest town/city for activities for families with teenage children and liturgical churches?

Thanks in advance,
anglirich

Default Holden, WV

Bythe lack of responses, I guess no one wants to live there either!

Holden is a coal camp near Logan, WV. Logan features the basic necessities, but not much more. Charleston, WV is an hour up Rt. 119 to find shopping and activities. Holden is in the Protestant Bible Belt, but there are probably at least one Catholic or Lutheran or Episcopalian church in Logan County. Like the rest of the southern WV coal fields, they are probably suffering from an epidemic of drug addiction, too - meth, oxycontin, lortabs, crack, etc. The economy of the area has been coal mining for 100 years.
