My children and I just got back in from our Philippi visit and I was very impressed, not sure if it was intensified by my dislike of Indianapolis but who knows! While Philippi is very small (I almost drove out of town by driving five minutes or so) I was very impressed. The people are friendly and the scenery beautiful. We got to see the Tygart River (swollen from the three days of rain) the covered bridge and downtown. We went to nearby Parkersburg which was very busy. Lots of retail shops so finding a part-time job while I am in school will be no problem. Alderson-Bradeus has a hospital right there in town that has physical and occupational therapy for my daughter. So we have decided to move the first week in August! Thanks for all your help. I really appreciate it.

Great!!! Welcome to West Virginia, Mona!

But I think you've gotten a couple of towns mixed up... Parkersburg is over by the Ohio River, probably two or three hours away. Maybe you meant to write Clarksburg, or possibly Elkins?

Your right, I did mean Clarksburg! Thank you for the welcome! We are excited and can't wait to move.
