ART Review:
On a lighter note, I wanted to put in a Plug for MillersAngel's Art Photography...
When I saw her pic in Post #28 of this Thread...I simply had to have it...
It spoke volumes...color composition, tone..a Contemporary Still Life that measured West Virginia in this shakey era of time and space.
I begged...I cajoled...she gave in...for a price, and a very fair one...
I have #1 of 100 of this Bumper Series.
She commented about art and how artists starve...well they do...but they feed us, the consumers,...it's an emotional meal and most filling.
One of my passionate joys, has been the beginning of a very austere art collection...Mickey Mouse is there, Masked Naked Whores from the French Quarter, Ducks landing at Eventide...and serene Japanese silks of Mt. Fuji done in acrylics...
This special work by KS will be displayed and talked about proudly to everyone who looks and stares...
It carries the essence of US...West (by god) Virginia...and that essence could be fleeting and gone in a decade or two.
Thank you, K....for figuratively filling a great gaping hole on my office wall...the one that was waiting for 'Bumper.
I'm honored to have this exceptional work.
