Always had a soft spot in my heart for Pro Wrestlers...in Hawaii they would come to the islands for a working vacation during the winter season.
Fill the downtown area on a Saturday night...on sundays, we would see them on the beach at Waikiki with a hundred little kids following...some would buy the kids ice cream.
They became known for their kindess and the willingness to take time to visit and say hello.
Great followings were forged with those big Samoan mama-sans who would bring in the entire tribe to watch those Saturday night grudge? matches...
A very difficult and dangerous style of entertainment...my hat will always be tipped to those of the wrestling ranks..
