I Really Need to Know The Truth
To anyone who really knows: Is the Klu Klux Klan very active in Wheeling?
I am considering buying a house there and I need to know the truth.

If you look in the Yellow Pages under Civic Organizations I'm sure you will find the local chapter...
Should be following these other groups...Black Hand, Black Panthers, Cosa Nostra, Juggalos, Ku Klux Klan, Mafia, ect...
Or try googling into North Carolina...those kooks might possibly refer you to a chapter around the Pittsburg region. good luck...
gave you a point...you need much more than that, but it's all I can do with this blog...

Oh wow...
I only know that in Huntington, there used to be a group of Skinheads that met once a week, peacefully, at a local bar... and I had to learn NOT to go there. (They always wore white shirts with bright red suspenders... and we found out the HARD way that they were nazi's and skinheads. :/ )
KKK people? I only know of one KKK member... and sadly I'm related to him. Robert C. Byrd. He's my step- dad's cousin and he has a lot of family photos with him in full gear and hood.
Don't know of any who are actually active anymore.

There is supposedly a chapter here in Grafton, WV. If there is you'd never know it. It's not one of those things that gets a whole lot of publicity. There may be KKK in Wheeling but they may be in your town wherever that is, to the same extent and you wouldn't know in either place. The KKK is a non-issue here unless, of course, you're looking to join, then, like any other anti-social splinter group, I'm sure if you ask around you can find it wherever you are.

Meetings are the third Friday of every month, 7:30pm, Rufus's Bar and Grille, corner of Main and Ohio, in downtown Wheeling. Be sure to come in uniform.
