Yay for job interviews! (Charleston: budget, retire, commuting)

So the DNR didn't pan out, boo on them (although I am resubmitting my application).

But, I have two job interviews coming up with AmeriCorp VISTA program participants. One's based in Charleston, and one's in Dunmore.

I'm REALLY hoping one of them will be able to place me in a program within commuting distance of Roanoke VA, so I can be with my boy.

Keep me in your thoughts! And if you see any biology/forestry/microbiology related jobs within 2 hours of Roanoke VA, shoot me a message!!

Good thing you didn't get into the DNR right now...the state employees are being furloughed 2 days week to save budget money...same work...just less pay.
Take the Vista Job and help those who really need your help...a better door of opportunty will open for you...they will come back to you, as those employees who are ready to retire will retire will leave a personell void that must be filled...

re-submit and keep the fire hot...even a low paying job is better than NO job...good for you Newt...
