Default Is Newtgirl moving to Monroe County?

I might have an AmeriCorp VISTA position in Monroe county. Basically it will be working with the 'old timers' to establish the historic heritage of the watershed of a creek (I forget which one, sorry!).

The goal is to establish the entire watershed of the creek as a National Heritage site.

I am suppose to meet with the guy (Larry) on the 23rd-ish and discuss it more.

Of course, if I do get the position in Monroe Co., I hate to tell y'all, but I'm defecting to Virginia with my boy. But I'm slowly working on moving him up here. He said he'd move to Covington. Just a little more and I'll have moved him into WV.

He doesn't want to leave Virginia (he currently lives in Roanoke). I tried to convince him that White Sulphur Springs is calling our name, but Covington's as close as I can get him. For now. Bwahaha.

But he doesn't want to live in the city any more than I do, and Virginia's got some seriously crazy residency requirements, where WV doesn't. So it's easier for me to become a resident here than there. I guess I'll have to wait and see how my cards play out.
