Rothchild family estimated worth : $500 trillion
Owns Reuters, Associated Press, etc.
Owns Federal Reserve
I was wondering when this beast would show its colors, seeing its tentacles of influence around the necks of its puppets. Uttered from its own mouth . .

Then why aren't the other constitutional rights weighed at all? Maybe how easily the press has access to state gov't issues. Or the lack of red tape needed to get a permit to protest. Gee...why all of these stereotypical conservative/libertarian things that are seen as "freedoms?"

DK I meant to ask you this the other day but forgot. I'm not going to say that Maryland has low taxes but how did your son have to pay a city tax in Germantown? It may have almost 100,000 residents but Germantown, like most places in Montgomery County, MD are unincorporated and not subject to a city tax.

As to the global warming scam, Rolling Stone mag has a stunning article on Goldman Sachs, their involvement/influence in the bubbles which have rocked the US, and.... Goldman Sachs involvement in the Cap & Trade bill.
Ummm, isn't Rollling Stone a liberal mag?
I was really surprised to read the article in there.
The article is not yet available online - is well worth buying the mag to read it. The article is
The Great American Bubble Machine
Matt Taibbi on how Goldman Sachs has engineered every major
market manipulation since the Great Depression
Rolling Stone Issue 1082-83
There is a tidbit on the article at The Great American Bubble Machine : Rolling Stone
However this barely gets into what is written in the mag article on Cap & Trade, etc.
Quote:
|
.........Barack Obama, .........leading private campaign donor was ..... Goldman Sachs ........$981,000 to his campaign — .................the next bubble, is in carbon credits — a booming trillion- dollar market ......... Democratic Party that it gave $4,452,585 to in the last election ........ a groundbreaking new commodities bubble, disguised as an "environmental plan," called cap-and-trade. .......... virtual repeat of the commodities-market casino that's been kind to Goldman,.......... the rise in prices will be government-mandated. Goldman won't even have to rig the game. It will be rigged in advance. The Great American Bubble Machine : Rolling Stone

I read their movie reviews.
I'm no expert on these dynasty families other than seeing their tip of the iceberg. The only reason I know about them is because it's like all roads lead to Rome, and everytime I begin unwraveling a tangled skein of policy, their names come up, not as an aside, but as benefactor, instigator, and influence.
Bernake (Federal Reserve), like Greenspan before him, clearly represents foreign interests (as half of the Federal Reserve is not owned by Americans), and they care little for our Constitution, or sovereignty, and little for our economic health, as they have orchestrated our ruin. If you recall with the initial proposal of TARP (a/k/a bailout), Bernake presented it with "no oversight" and "above any judicial review", in other words, to be above the law.
As I recall, this "above the law" crap was addressed specifically in the Declaration of Independence.
Sachs is part of that blueblood intermingling via marriage and business with the Rothchilds, and that includes a West Virginia Senator. DK has a thread on him . . this family is considered an agent of foreign power. Look up Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and Trilateral Commission, Bilderberg Group, etc. CFR purports to be in our interests, but they are a direct threat to our sovereignty, and when you really dig through what they're saying, it's very scary ****! If you look at the lists of people who have belonged to these groups, intent on the dissolution of the United States, there should be a taste in your mouth just before you throw up -- that's called sanity.
What does this have to do with this latest scam, the one about to break the balls of everybody in this country?
Follow the money.

Heck, if the study is "based" on the "constitutional freedoms of 200 years ago," I guess slavery would be ok too, by David's logic.

NOVAMountaineer82:
Germantown city income tax at one percent of gross translated into $2,500 per year...hefty tax that was avoided by just moving out of the area...
Germantown is online to be a 'Model Green City for the USA...somebody must pay for that priviledge...
and as for Slavery, IveHadEnough: ...didn't it go through the Courts with Dred/Scot...Pleasey and the others...
Our 'Freedoms have been picked at since I was in college in the 60's...our smelly 'Peace-nik Professors were touting their Mark'sizm then and making us feel guilty for living.
Now it's the majority of the mainsteam mindset and nobody has a recollection of how to live or speak without some guilt.
You do not reflect my logic, so get your head out of your @ss...this forum requires some thought and reason.
My motive is to help those who would be helped...nothing more..take your place line...you need it much more than so many others, stay here and get your education in sociology.
Slavery...???? Muslim slavery? Still flourishing!...
Chinese Slavery? Still flourishing!...
and here in the USA, very discrete, calculated and stifiling...debt...surveilance...taxation...the limiting of mobility...very sophisticated...but very real.
The Dutch and English made the big money on slavery from the 1500's to the 1800's and then got out of the business on moral grounds...
The Muslims and Chinese are still involved in that trade as are certain Mexican criminal groups who provide labor into the USA...
That seed money from long ago funded these Rothchilds and English nobles...we suffer from their power, because they literally own the world.
And they have been incestous with their family relationships, marrying into each others families for over 6 generations...all done to keep the precious money intact...
It's no wonder they cannot think...Egypt had the same problem with genetic breakdown.
Please Look at their features...checkout a pic of Caroline Kennedy...there's a prime example of what I'm talking about...freakish.

To get this Thread back on Topic:
In a conversation today with the Chief Operations Officer of a local power company, the topic of wind generation came up...
He said...'We have done all the testing ourselves and it's a joke...The windmills can only provide 10% of the power we need at best...but the Tax Credits are worth a fortune to us...While they are there, we will be involved...
Our best fuel is coal because its cheap...we were paying almost $100 per ton last year and now it's in the $30 dollar range because the coal companies have over produced..."
I asked," Any reduction in the electric bill coming?"
He laughed..."Not Now...Not with Obama...We don't know how this will shake out...Our strategy is to pay down our debt load and get ready for the increase...It's coming and It's going to be bad."
As for the future, we are looking at water generation...new techiques and a cheaper solution if we can get the permits.."
Was very enlightening...

You need to get a nice big clue, if you think your rights have been "picked at" only since you were in college.
You don't know jack squat about the constitution, and that's quite evident from your posts. For instance, it's PLESSY, and if you are so smart about the history of slavery in the courts, why don't you inform us of the Dred Scott, and Plessy holdings. Unless you think it's ok to have separate but equal treatment based on race. See, that ruling came from the courts.
Also, since you are claiming the issue of slavery is not appropriate for this discussion, because it "went through the courts" (whatever the hell that means), then I guess your "rights" that have been "picked at" since the 60's, are all quite appropriate, since all those cases have also "been through the courts." So, quit your whining.
You were originally referring to the "rights we got 200 years ago," as some sort of gold standard or basis to tell us how "free" we were. Well, those rights included slavery, women couldn't vote, and a whole bunch of other stuff that would be anathema to us today.
So, which is it, smartguy? Rights then, or rights now?
You want more schooling on constitutional law? You picked the right guy to start arguing with. Stick around. You might learn something. Pharmguy gets it right. People who believe those bogus "studies" are too damn dumb, to barely do anything other than yell "Megadittos, Rush!!!!!"
I also love how you trumpet Morgantown as some sort of great place. Of course, without state and federal government dollars, Morgantown would not exist. It would barely be a wide spot in the road, without the truckloads of state and federal dollars dumped into it in the form of the University, and stuff like NIOSH. I guess you should be rooting for the big, bad, government (you know, the same nasty governments that are taking away all your rights?) to get the hell out of Mo'town, shouldn't you? No more hospitals, NIOSH, WVU, eh? Let's see how Morgantown survives then.
