101 Unique Places to Dine
Here's the web site. A not so bad list for visitors and new folks moving to the state. A few of my favorites are missing from the list but I guess every restaurant couldn't be added!

My favorites of these are da Vinci's in Williamstown and Cafe Cimino in Sutton. Of course, I have only visited 8 of 101 but the quality of these two are worth the visit.
The German pizza and spaghetti Mona Lisa at da Vinci's is truly one of a kind as indicated in the article. Cafe Cimino used to have grilled portabello mushroom for an appetizer that was out of this world but I understand it is now on the regular menu now but is offered as a special occasionally.

I dined at the FOP in Nutter Fort today...in Bonnie's section of the cafe. She was wonderful..
at the suggestion of Mr. 3-Run...I ordered the Hot Dogs...
buns were toasted...plain...mustard, onions and sauce with cole slaw on the side...I asked how do you do the potatoes? they were excellent but the dogs were an effort in doing things the right way...
Grilled just right...the onion was just chopped...the slaw was just grated...it was really wonderful...but ..but...
This is an excellent resturant and the pain shown in my Hot Dog lunch indicated an effort in many dishes becoming of this exceptional eaterie...
The lady at the next table was enjoying a steak salad that I would have died for and will sample on my next trip through...even if I take the Pittsburgh route to get there...
Really big thing is 24/7 hours..with full menu...that means if you are out on a late night fishing trip with the boys and don't catch anything...you can commiserate over a brew and a great early morning supper...CHECK THIS PLACE OUT
you won't be sorry...FOP in Nutter Fort....3 Run know where to go..

I'm surprised that Truckstop 67 in Sutton (Interstate 79 Exit 67) hasn't been mentioned. They're open 24/7 and have a variety of food like the basic American stuff but also have a tasty selection of Mexican dishes. I personally love their big burritos, chicken salads, breakfast skillets, and steak & potatoes. The Salsa is to die for. They also have beautiful hand painted nature scenes on the walls as well as some booths that look like wagons. The best thing is that they have a clean kitchen. I can actually trust the food that is served there.
Other than that, I like Applebee's in Summersville. :P

I have been to 8 of these and can think of several that are missing from the list. DJ's Diner in Fairmont, Yellow Brick Bank in Shepardstown, Laury's in Charleston.

Bill's Place in Fairmont should be on that list too.
Back Bay on the Mileground still has the best lunch oysters I've ever ate...
I keep driving by that new Mexican place in Fairmont and will stop soon for the evening mosquito swarm...open-air cafe..Mi Pueblo....on their main street.

Visited the Purple Fiddle in Thomas last night. Great wrap sandwich and home-made ice cream. They also had Dan Evans with Coaltrain musical entertainment and it was a great night of food and entertainment.
Stopped at the Log Cabin Grille in Ellenboro on the way across this beautiful state and I have to say the Country Fried Steak with home-made macaroni salad and pickled beets were great and the butterscotch dessert was excellent (though quite rich).
