Spring???

I think you've been hitting the Valentine's chocolate a little too hard, DK, and flipped your calendar too soon. Spring won't be here till the 3rd week of March.

No, snorpus...with the wonderful 'global warming' factor kicked into high gear our Spring comes in the 3rd week of February...
I realize that Elliot Abrams has given us the deep six next week as far as weather goes, but wait and feel the air and sunshine as soon as its over...

I usually buy my chocolate at Gene and Boots, they have one of their stores just down the road in Delmont.

I'm not gonna call it spring till that 2 inch layer of ice in the driveway decides to melt.

Pronounce that word for me..would you? I saw it once before...about as amish as you can get...certainly plural...what would be the singular? Reminds me of that movie several years ago...wasn't Nicholas Cage the star?

FYI- home owners have a guide to doing an energy audit for themselves- instructions from DOE in this link:
EERE Consumer's Guide: Do-It-Yourself Home Energy Audits

It should be a guide at very least to let you know what work you need to do for next winter. If you have a great energy efficiency seal for the building, don't forget taking care of thermal bridging (gaskets or sealants between dissimilar building materials) and air exchange systems built into your plans so you don't give yourself mold problems down the road undermining your investment.
