Default Hank Jr, John Rich, Ted Nugent going to Logan - who would have ever thought?

Anyone heading to the Friends of America rally in greater Logan area on Labor Day? Never would have thought I'd see Hank Williams Jr, John Rich, Ted Nugent, Sean Hannity, and others in Logan area. Think those boys have been in deep mountains before - I think so. Well, except for Sean - that's doubtful.

Wonder how many people will show (or be able to find it??? )
Although it;s a free event, people do have to register ahead of time.

You go Logan - good for you.

Logan is such a nice little town. Heart of America thing.

One thing's for sure, those folks will not be wasting their time.

Who's going to sing THE song? Almost Heaven.

Labor Day? huh, that might be a Real Big Happening!

I wish he would stop by Charleston. I would love to go, but it is alittle out of the way.

But I understand why they're doing the event there. Its good for the coal industry.

The festival will be past the Holden Exit, at Mine No. 22 road.

Wonder if sponsor Massey is going to shuttle people from the parking areas to the show in the back of a couple of 777s ?

Where is your WV sense of adventure?
Event of a lifetime and you won't go cuz it's out of the way?
Are you really a West Virginian?

Took me a good while after moving to WV to get over marveling about how far people drive to get to work, to the mall, etc.
Now a 3 hour jaunt to MoTown or wherever seems like no big deal.
